Announcements

Below are announcements on our courses and programs.

In addition to our ongoing Kids Biz Club courses at Alderwood and Cordata Elementary Schools, beginning in January 2020, SAVE will be offering business startup courses for residents of Agape House in conjunction with the Lighthouse Mission in Bellingham.

agape home

The residents of Agape Home are women working on getting back on their feet. Our new course will supplement existing courses that cover financial planning and many other life skills. We will show residents how to start their own business, build their own business website and market their own business using low and no cost social media.

We believe that showing them how to start their own business can provide them with a pathway towards self sufficiency. If you agree with us that this is an extremely important program, there are two ways to help us offer and expand this program. First, we would very much appreciate your donation in whatever amount you can afford. Second, we are also looking for mentors willing to be trained in the same skills we will be providing to students. The more mentors we have, the more students we can serve.

Visit our website for more information on how you can donate to our important programs and/or how you can become a mentor for our courses.

Thanks for your support. Together, we can and will make a difference to families here in Whatcom County!
